    Dimmer...viola!

    Ran onto this and thought it was pretty darn good! Not my idea, nor am I taking credit for it. Just sharing

    that's a cool link, those klein strippers and screwdriver will set you back $20 more. lol i like klein tools. the bad thing about dimmers is that as your house/room temps go up and down, so does your heat output. too much adjusting/headache for me.

    Yeah the tools he has aren't from Walmart...lol. I just thought it was neat. I use dimmers on all of my setups and they don't usually flux too much. It all depends on your house's heating system too.

    I just made one of these for a temp. cool side with a 25 watt UTH until the flexwatt comes in. Unfortunatly, I can't get the darn thing to go below 102 (don't worry, im testing it out on a seperate piece of wood, NOT under my snake). Any suggestions on why it might be doing this and how to fix it?

    Are you sure the dimmer switch is working? Try plugging a lamp into it and see if it dims.
