Will this be your first snake? If so it may not be a bad idea to decide on cornsnakes, kingsnakes, or milksnakes. All of those are going to be variable in apperance, and for the beginner a lot easier to keep than a picky ball python, as well as more managable than an adult boa.

Nope , I had a corn before . I have done about a years reasearch on balls and 3 mounths on boas and a good 1yr and a half on snakes in genoral. So i think i am ready . I just got to get permission .

Just curious on what happened to the corn?
If you want a boid I would go for the Ball over a boa, especially since I assume you are younger, mainly because boas get overall larger as you know and if your parents aren't keen on the idea of a snake in the first place it wouldn't be a good idea to be handling a 9 foot snake with immense power all by yourself.
I'm glad you've been doing your research and not just jumping in to this, make the best decision for your lifestyle, and most importantly on what you can afford to maintain.
