Re: food??
Kathy Love talks about snake sausages in her corn snake book, even in the new addition. I think the idea is weird too and she doesn't say if she actually uses them herself, but that's a pretty big endorsement if she included them in her book.../shrug
0.1 ball python (Cleo), 0.1 surinam bcc (Carmen)
1.0 sunglow motley corn (Jenson), 1.0 albino burmese (Lourdes)
1.0 cat (Nicky), some mooses and ratters, 1.0 hubby (Rick)

Re: food??
The primary ingredient is beef. How does the nutritional profile of cow compare to that of a rodent?

Re: food??
This diet is nutritionally complete and needs no additional supplementation; it does not contain meat by-products or grains such as corn, wheat, rice or barley.
Whole prey items such as mice, rats, or rabbits actually contain meat by-products...such as bone, sinew, offal, fur, etc. One would imagine that if the snakes actually eats and digests these things, they might be an essential part of their diet. Also....take note of the "does not contain grains.... then look at the list of ingredients:
Beef, Beef Hearts, Beet Pulp, Tricalcium Phosphate, Ground Flaxseed Meal, Sodium Chloride, Choline Chloride, Taurine, Vitamin E Supplement, L-Ascorbyl-2 Polyphosphate (source of Vitamin C), Vitamin A and D-3 Supplement, Niacin, Riboflavin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamin Mononitrate, d-Calcium Pantothenate, Folic Acid, Biotin, Iron Sulfate, Iron Proteinate, Manganese Sulfate, Manganese Proteinate, Copper Sulfate, Copper Proteinate, Calcium Iodate, Sodium Selenite.
And if "beef" without the by products was enough...why all those added chemicals of rather questionable reputation?

Re: food??
All in all, a bad choice on every level.
