Shedding... already??? blue head?

Basically, the head of the snake is sorta blue right on top of the head, and around the eyes. Which my GF says looks like its gunna start soon, even if this isnt the exactl coloring, should i still raise the humidity up to around 65%?. Or is this a possible sign of a disease? she is pretty sure the color is more for shedding however...

here is a photo of him, i dont think you can see the coloring but it sorta shows his size.

the hardest thing, is the snake was JUST put into the the cage, so figuring out if the belly is pink, is sorta difficult since we shouldnt really move him in and out of the cage, correct?

right now, the head of the snake looks 55% blue. hes curled up into a ball, so its difficult to see everything of him.

sheds are no big deal, if they are "in the blue" like you mentioned, just make sure the humidity is up high as you can get it (mist the cage a few times a day with a bottle if you need to), and make sure he has something rough to rub against (rock, branch, piece of log, etc), and you shoudl be fine...

A lot of pet stores dont do a good job at keeping humidity high enough, so if he doesnt shed all in one piece, you can take a small tupperware type tub, fill it with warm water, and poke holes in the top, and drop him in there for 30 mins or so. as long as he has room to keep his head above water . (this is after he is out of his blue stage though, and if he is having trouble getting all of his shed off)

she knows mosst of this, im just trying to lear as well, as im REALLY interested currently in them.

i have no spray bottle, so i am just taking a damn cloth and wiping the sides of the cage so that gets humidity up as well.

also, contact paper/tstat/spray bottle are all getting purchased tomorrow so that should help a lot, as long as i leave a few good holes in all of the corners, that should allow for enough air to circulate right?
