    Exclamation Natures Spirit Rack

Wanted to know if anyone on this forum has the natures spirit rack with the 1960 sterilite tubs and chose the extra flexwatt (belly heat)... if u have this rack can u please describe how the flexwatt is wired with this particular option... I tried to contact the maker but couldn't understand. I want to know if he puts the flexwatt for the belly heat option on each shelf and if he wires them all to one unit or separate. any info on this rack would be great.

    Thanks

Is that the 3' rack? I have one and love it. They use one piece of flexwatt 'snaked' through the shelves, and one plug comes out the back ready to plug into your thermostat.

    $250.

snaked through... I mean the flexwatt weaves through the shelves so it's along the bottom of all three, and it also goes up one side of each shelf (hence the weaving)

great that's what i wanted to know... do you feel that the piece of flexwatt on the back wall is too much? at what temps do you keep your t-stat at? Ive heard that the back wall flexwatt is for back heat and that flexwatt under each tub is for belly heat, this rack seems to have these 2 things but only with one plug to go to your t-stat is that correct?

    Re: Natures Spirit Rack

it's one piece of flexwatt.. it just weaves through the shelves. It's certainly not too much. The 'back' heat is not what you're thinking here.. it's just a bit of the one piece of flexwatt going up one wall as it weaves through the shelves.

One plug, yes. I have the t-stat set to 96. The probe is against the flexwatt on the bottom of the shelf.

Thanks alot Shelby I think this it what he was trying to say but he just said it in a weird way and I didn't understand, I think I'll be getting this rack real soon with that belly heat option. I take it you recommend it? Have you had any problems at all with it, and what t-stat do you use if you don't mind me asking.. It's going to be my first rack.

    Re: Natures Spirit Rack

It's a great rack.. in fact, I've ordered a second one. The tubs it uses are nice too because there are no grooves to catch dirt.

I use Johnson Controls thermostats right now. Eventually, I'll be using Helix.
