I recieved an '03-04ish female from a customer at work, on a trade, for a larger burmese because he was "bored" with the ball. Psshh. Whatever. Anyways, this guy must have kept her in a desert cage or something because she had the usual retained shed and wrinkled eyes. With some advice (thanks Adam!) I found the problem with her eyes was not from retained caps, but a condition caused by exposure to low levels of humidity for a long period of time. This is what they looked like:

I'm reluctant to call this a true rescue, her feeding response is second to none! Luckily she didn't sweat her previous husbandry too badly. Anyways, here she is, a couple of weeks and one shed later:

I didn't really do anything else but set her up in the proper conditions, and the eye issue just worked itself out. She's weighing in at 1400 grams and growing, perfect for my male pastel next season!
