    Looks good!

Little foreshadow action in the third pic - other than that very nice. Are you using a tent? Nice and uniform!

i'm still playing around with the setup and cam. the bulbs come from walmart. here's a pic of my ghetto setup. i plan on making a 3 sided box out of white foamboard to make a tent like setup.

    Re: lighting setup test

You might not even need to do that.

If you get a white piece of foamcore or posterboard and make a lip out of it at the front of the base you've got the BP's on - bout 8" or so high - it should splash back enough light to the foreground. That's my ghetto solution lol.

    At any rate excellent results!

We'll of course be expecting a steady stream of pics from you now

Awesome man! Just for some cc, that bright white in the above 2 pics kinda beats up my eyes if I look at it too long...I've got a 19" lcd though, so it might be on my end. The ones up top look awesome though, the background is a little less intense.

I especially like the one of your hypo! Great pictures, although your set up looks like a surgery theatre! LOL

Wonderful pictures Vaughn! Friends of ours do some ebay selling and she has these wierd bulbs that look sort of lilac colored (in the packaging)...she referred to them as her "ebay bulbs" so I assume they are also to do with photography (perhaps reducing glare???? I'll have to ask her).
