I always wanted a full time house bunny...they can be quite efficiently trained to pee/poop in specific areas (litter box maybe, newspaper) and not chew on things.

Growing up, we raised rabbits for meat (NUUUMMMMY!) and our old male, Calcutta, in his last winter with us before he past on, lived in the house (as he almost froze in his outdoor cage). He only pooped and peed on some newspapers on the slate floor in the living room. He was cool...still miss him.

No clue what breed of rabbit he was - but his kids were sure tasty!
