Welcome to the forum. Please go through the caresheet Lars provided for you (thanks Lars!) and perhaps some threads in the husbandry section of the forum on Ball Pythons so you can compare your housing and care of the snake to what most people here do. Then perhaps give us an idea of what specifically you might need to know more on after you do some research here.

There are lots of experienced people here that have from one to hundreds of ball pythons and will be more than willing to help you once they know exactly what needs addressed.

Most of us leave our new snakes for a good week or two w/o handling, feeding or any contact other than changing their water to let them settle in properly.
