feeding time is getting near :D

well, its been one week since i left lahsa in her cage.
i handled her couple of times and petted her and she seemed to enjoy it cuz she doesn't move unless my wife walks infront of her or sit next to me, then she'll take defensive mode and watches my wife movement "seems like she knows who really hates her and who cares about her "

well, i got a simple question "im gonna feed her at 10 pm" . should i turn off the lights? put the mouse inside and close the top? then wait?

"shrugs" im planning on video recording it though since its the 1st time "its like the 1st time the baby starts walking"

well, i just wanna know what common mistakes that i should avoid.
    thanx.

I've always wanted to see a colubrid eat. I got a corn a few weeks ago and fed him, but didn't get to watch. Hopefully yours ate better than mine. How'd the video turn out with it being dark and all?

Re: feeding time is getting near :D

thanx guys everyone is calling me, even the people who thought of me having the snake is crazy they were like "did it eat?" i was like "yes!!!!"

at the begining. i didn't find where my wife put the video cam, so im like "screw it, she wont eat anyways". then when i took her hiding and removed it slowly. held the mouse in the air, she didn't back off, so i left it in the cage and thats when it happened. i was like "where's the cam!! quick!". the battery was dead lol, so my cousin had sony ericsson W900i it was nice and clear, it had a flash so recorded the swollowing my wife was pissed though, she was like "how could you!! i wanned to see it eat!!!"....

i just hope that she doesn't skip a meal
