Probably more excited than I should be =P
Today I finally kicked Otis's mousies up a notch and fed him his first fuzzy meal! He took it like a champ, it's definately the perfect size for him ^__^ Not the most exciting news a person could have, but considering I've been afraid of killing him since I've gotten him, I'm pretty psyched about this small milestone =) Now if only the little brat would shed for me!!! =P

The first feed is so awesome. So much tension going on but then it finally works out for the good. That's a good feeling.

Sometimes it's the little things. If he is doing well (and it sounds like he is) you should be happy and proud! Enjoy, and keep in mind BP's can swallow a much large meal than you would ever expect, but I DO NOT recommend it! Keep it simple, keep it smart! And keep up the good work!
Take Care,

Thanks guys! I appreciate it ^_^
It was to the point that he couldn't even constrict the pinkies because they were just too small, and he would swollow them down in less than 2 minutes. I think I was being a little TOO careful to not overfeed him, especially since he was getting so FAT! =P

Congrats on the progress!! Keep up the great work.
It is nerve racking to some degree until you see the first feed. I just got in a pastel 1.0 the other day. Giving him his space right now for at least 2 weeks to settle in before I offer a treat. I'll wait to roll the dice till then and hope to hit some good feeding response.
