Now that you've seen the snake room...here's a few shots of the invert room...in progress. I need to move a few of the T's around.

I see some lovely molts in that last pic.

Very impressive. Is your invert room heated, or do yours do well at room temps? I keep my two in the snake room which is around 80 degrees..

What temperature req's does the subfusca have?

Love the setup and yes I am marginally jealous of some of the species you keep. What's your prize T?

I have been a T keeper with some herps for quite a while now, I'd say. The T's have outnumbered the herps since maybe marchish? of last year.

My T's do well at room temperatures (which is around 70).

The scorpions are all heated though.

P. subfusca does well if it stays under 70, probably no lower than 50ish. With it being right in the windowsill there, it stays in the 60's. It's a mountane species.

Prize t's...hm...

I have several I suppose. My favorite T is still the P. subfusca.

In no special order:

Poecilotheria miranda
Poecilotheria subfucsa
Metriopelma sp. "blue femur"
Cyriocosmus elegans
Hapolpelma sp. "costale"

Those 5 are probably the ones I had the hardest time getting and/or paid the most for. The last time P. miranda was in the hobby, it was about 5 years ago. C. elegans came into the hobby recently, and it's price has dropped, but it's still in pretty high demand. Not every T has a heart shaped mark on it's abdomen and grows to be about 2" max I wouldn't have Haploplema sp. "costale" if I didn't talk to Bruce and Bill of the Therphasoid Breeding Project at the swap all the time. They are the only people I know of to have breed that species.

I've really started getting into the dwarf T's and they're a bit harder to find in the US.

The roach colony is still only the dubia. They've been doing very very well, I've sold off about 100 of my colony and I've had no problems trying to find the sizes I need to feed my T's. Since some unforunate nematode losses, I have stopped feeding my T's crickets and primarily feed from the roach colony.
