How long have you had your ball python? I read the other threads and see that you don't have a digital thermometer/hygrometer for your BP, and I don't know how you heat your tank.. do you have a thermostat on your under tank heater? Getting your husbandry right with your first snake is important before thinking about getting a second.

Why would you want to get rid of your BP? Can you not keep two snakes?

Something that will fit all of your qualifications would be a colombian red tail boa; they are very pretty they can get very, very tame and their average legnth is 6.5-10 feet, they are a bit more advanced than balls and they are great eaters! most will go for around $100-$250(at the max)
    Good luck,
    Lucas

P.S. I'll take your BP and I'm willing to be flexible for like shipping prices!

You might want to decide what you want to do and then move on to deciding what you want to get. I'd seriously tackle that possible respiratory infection you posted about before commiting to any other course of action.

If you're not sure, wait. Get everything in order with your BP first, and in the meantime do some research on different snake species, and see what appeals. Whatever you pick, there's bound to be someone here who keeps one.

Emmies are pretty pricey.. and I wouldn't really reccomend them until you get your temps and humidity and everythign else spot on and keep them that way with your bp.

Average price $200-600 and up up up! Emmies are often aggressive and they have TEETH.. wicked curving ones. Not so much a handling snake as a display animal.
