I am getting an adult hognose this weekend and picking up viv today and want to make sure I get everything right for her arrival.
I've found a few caresheets and they seem to be nice little snakes and easy to keep. Please point out to me anything I might have wrong on my set up.
3 ft viv - mat and mat-stat thermostat - heating to be 75 - 85 with a basking spot of 95 (this last was mentioned in one caresheet but not on the others).
Do they need higher humidity like BPs when due a shed?
If anyone else has any of these snakes perhaps you could tell me of any little quirky things about them - they are so cute![]()

- actually it's due to this forum I named her that - I can't remember who it was but somebody once commented that for their size, Burms often act like limp noodles!! So a BIG THANK YOU to whoever said that.
