I love Adam's advice that if anything can fit in a hide other than the snake....the hide's too big LOL.

Whatever you pick for the hide just make sure it's easily washable as some snakes will use their hide as a bathroom too. We use those blue bowls like Robin showed you for our smaller snakes and big black rubber dog dishes for our larger snakes. Terracotta plant pots or the overflow water dish from underneath plant pots works good too. Just melt or chip an entrance and smooth any rough edges and you are set. Try to stay with stuff that won't absorb dampness or rot and grow mold like say cardboard or things like that.
