mouse in heat??
Is there any tell tale sign if a female is in heat? I noticed that the male has his little "get it on" things swollen and protruding more lately. Just curious for those of you that breed maybe you could help answer.

Are you meaning his penis or his testicles? Sorry, I am just blunt about these things, as it doesn't faze me one bit 
Sometimes when temperatures get too hot, males will drop their testicles in order to cool themselves down in that area(too high of a temp can cause infertility).
Females come into heat every 4-5 days and gestation is 19-21 days, just in case you weren't aware

it's the testicles, and no it doesn't bother me one bit, I just didn't want to offend anyone else . I don't think its too hot. Its between 70-75 in our house.
