you can use a little rubbermaid, any small plastic food container type thing or a small box temporarily until you can get something else. i use plastic plant pot bases for all my leos--they are super cheap and work great.
also think about providing a humid hide for your new leo. a small plastic container with a hole cut in it and wet papertowels inside works well for this. this will help your leo when it sheds.
good plan on just keeping the one gecko for now. if it turns out to be female then you could get another female if you wanted to.
give your new little one a few days to settle in and then just handle it for 5-10 minutes once a day or so for now until it gets used to you. leos generally tame pretty quickly so you shouldn't have too much of a problem.
