its that happy time of the year again...winter break.. last year my family did vermont. this year its gonna be the Poconos. its so wierd cause my family never used to do anything.

anyways im gonna miss all u and if u can give me any last minute tips for keeping the BP healthy while im away...

Have fun on your trip! It sounds like it'll be pretty cool.

As for your snake, when i'm away I always boost the thermostat (in the house) up so it's nice and toasty for them. (but I have to rely on a space heater to keep my temps up) Make sure everyone has a nice, big, fresh bowl of water and everyone is in they're cage. As long as you have a thermostat controling temps you should be good, but I always stress anyway.

thanks!!good point about the house temps. it should be alright if i leave a space heater in my room at the regular house temps right? my dad doesnt want to heat the whole floor while we're gone if we dont have to.

I don't like the thought of leaving a space heater on, if I'm not home and able to monitor it. (but I'm paranoid) I know heating prices are a little up there, but I always bump up the house thermostat. It's worth the peace of mind, for me at least.

We finally got 6 inches of snow here, and it is supposed to warmup again around 40 over the weekend... psycho weather...

wow so you say ther weather here was crazy...i went skiing on thursday and by friday nite all the snow was gone! the weather stayed in the 50-60 range for the rest of the weekend...but we had fun anyway

I am missing the era of the "good" winters we used to get regularly. We got a little ski deal for christmas and the kids are dying to go but too warm.

hey i know what you mean... Monty's doing great the temps stayed perfect although the wate dish was very low when i got back but he didnt look dehydrated.
