    Boaphile Question

For those of you using Boaphile - did you choose the Sterilite or Rubbermaid version? Does it matter?

Which style did you use and can you give feedback? How long did it take for your order to be filled?

Thanks! (If you haven't figured it out, I'm considering getting a Boaphile rack in the next few months).

    Re: Boaphile Question

    I have this one. http://www.boaphileplastics.com/rhin...sterilite.html

I plan on ordering the ball room rack in the next month or so myself. I don't really think it makes much difference between Sterilite or Rubbermaid, but you will want to find a couple extra tubs to have on hand just in case they discontinue them. I knew that it would take awhile when I ordered, so I was expecting that. I think I waited 8 weeks though. *shrug* (which was 2 weeks longer than expected, but oh well) The rack was awesome, and no assembly required. Just plug it in!! I've been very happy with mine. Just don't feel shy about calling and pestering. I never had much luck getting email resposnses.

    Re: Boaphile Question

I have two of the six high sideways sterilite racks. I love 'em. Like Christie said, I got enough extra tubs to go 24 small or 12 large in each one... so in case they discontinue the tubs, I have plenty. It took my first rack about 4.5 weeks, the second one took a little over 7 weeks. In another 30 days or so, I'll be able to tell you about stackability, but I have the two racks in differen't parts of the house now.

Thanks for the feedback! Are you both using the smaller tubs right now for your babies?

    Re: Boaphile Question

The ball room rack is very impressive, as is the other products I'm sure (same material). Prior to the arrival of the herps I had the setup running for months as if the bp's lived there.

Humidity - not an issue (just check it from time to time)

Temp - accurate to +/- 1.5 degrees across the four tubs.

I plan on getting more than a couple of bp's and they will live in a ball room rack.

Shipping- took about a week ( in transit). Darn thing came setup already, and the packing of the product is super. These guys obviously did their home work and it doesn't take up alot of room (yet)LOL...

    Hope that helps.

Yup, my babies are still in the shoeboxes. They're quite happy and won't be in there long if they keep eating like little piggies! I think it'll be a bit longer before I move them up to the larger tubs. I was thinking maybe 400g but I'm not sure. (I'm trying to keep an eye on them, don't want to go too big too soon!)

    Re: Boaphile Question

My four girls from Adam are in the bigger tubs now, and the 10 from Ben are all in shoeboxes... where they'll stay until around 450-500g probably.
