Re: best cage?
I only have experience with boaphile first hand. I have a 421D and I love it.. it's inexpensive, lightweight, it has no seams or grooves inside to catch dirt.. I really love it.
Vision seem to be pretty bulky to me.. they have the light shroud which a lot of snake keepers won't use.. and they're more expensive.

Re: best cage?
so the light shourd on visions are built right in? might be good for me, as idk if my room temps would let one element heat it alone. what are the ambient temps of your room do ya know? and what do your temps/humidity stay at in your cage?
ive heard visions are gods gift to breeders

Re: best cage?
My herp room is heated so it's around 80 degrees everywhere. I use one foot of flexwatt on one side of the boaphile to make a hotspot of 95.

I only have experience with Animal Plastics. I have a T3 and it is the bomb! Very spacious, very sturdy and holds heat and humidity well. Good customer service too. A little expensive but I believe you get what you pay for.

Re: best cage?
After countless hours of reading other's post's and research its going to be a boaphile Ball Room Rack for me. Again, everyone has their own needs and this one fills mine. Plus you can't beat the fact that all the hardware is there, just needing a thermostat and your set. I hope that helps?

Re: best cage?
That's why I love my Boaphile rack so much! No assembly required!! That works for me.

Re: best cage?
speaking of which... How does the humidity hold up for your setup in that boaphile? I always wondered about that considering the tiny spacing between the shelves...Hmmm

Re: best cage?
Humidity isn't bad, although it does take some tweaking. I've soldered a lot of holes in the tubs, and have some of them taped up right now. (There is NO way the snakes can get to that tape, I promise!) I also have a space heater in there too, so I've always got the air circulating. I can get 50-60% no problem. In the summer. when the humidity is so high, I just need to run the fan in the room.
