green snakes are kind of needy and sensitive... they dry out really easily is the biggest problem. they may not musk, but they writhe and snap when handled - at least all the ones i've seen. you should just get a couple female mice and a male mouse. before you know it, you'll have 19 mice! at least that's what's happened to me in the last 3-1/2 weeks.
