Reputation Question...
I noticed that when I put my cursor over a little green box under my name is says "Jonny2184 might want to think before posting"?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I find that little embarassing!
For most other people it says "_______ is welcome around here"!!!
I'm wondering if I said something wrong! or something that might have offended someone!
I sure hope not, but I feel that it is slightly unprofessional to say that I should watch what I post! Unless I did something wrong!
Maybe if you sent me an email stating what I had said wrong (so I could correct myself so it will not happen again)
I dont know what I've done to get that kind of feedback!
Could maybe someone from the Admin help me with this???
Tell me how I can make it all better! Whatever it is!
Thanks

Re: Reputation Question...
Reputation can be taken from or given by all users. It is not placed on staff only to decide a users reputation. You can go to your user control panel and view your comments/points from there, I am sure you will find that enlightening as to why your reputation stands as it is right now. You can however change that with time by acquiring good points from staff or other members.

Re: Reputation Question...
KEWL!
I checked it out and now I know where it comes from... that is great!
Thanks for the info!
But what i dont really understand is that they gave me bad feedback because there opinion was different then my opinion on a certain subject, so since they feel that I'm wrong they can give me bad feedback!?!?!?!?!
I dont like the way that works!
Example:
So if I say the sky is green and someone else says it's blue and they dont like the fact that I was wrong the they can give me bad feedback!
Thats exacly what happened! Two different points of view!
But in there point of view I was wrong so I get the badfeed back!
Not very fair!

Well, not sure what to tell you, but thats how that system works. You, like others have to realise that lots of opinions differ, reputation is based off of others perception of your post content and/or its helpfulness or accuracy.
Fair warning, retaliatory points get you into trouble around here.

I didn't know that? ... very interesting ... but you can't really know for sure who gave you negative rep points can you? Or am I missing something?

Yeah, it shows it in the menu for your points. At least it does mine.

Re: Reputation Question...
I just found out that regular users should not see the who of it. To avoid retaliatory stuff.
