LOL. Yes well, that is the only room in my place that was cleared enough to hold the snakes and also was easily heated. I was having some problems with heated cages with the humidity and heat not geting correct. Since moving everyone into the "snake room" aka my guest bathroom, I have had all whole sheds, and everyone is eating every week exceptions being those in shed. Everyone is gaining weight and looked clear and bright.
The new room is much larger and should be ready for snakes but the end of the week. Yes that rack is SUPER easy to build, but you should be sure to put washers in between the pegboard and the pvc pieces so the pvc doesn't cut the pegboard. I have to disaasemble that to get it out of that room as it was assembled in place.
The "rat" on the floor is actually one of my prize yorkies. I sold pups out of her, sight unseen(after the person was on my waiting list for over 2 years) for $1000 dollars apiece and they paid over $700 to ship them via airline to their home in ARizona. So I am pretty proud of my line of yorkies. I recently spayed her so don't bother asking for pups! lol
The yorkies are also apparently a snake herding breed. One female ball got loose and was crawling across my living room floor when they woke me up barking at her. They had not touched her at all, as she was stretched out calmly slithering across my living room. This was at about 3 am. I put her into her new escape-proof(I hope) container and went back to bed. After praising the dogs repeatedly about their wonderful trick.
