Awesome News, Herp Shed
Well my dad has had ENOUGH. He is so sick and tired of the reptiles in the separate TV/his office room. So am getting a shed probably 6x8 to put my herps in. I will have to pay for half of it, but I can get as many herps as I can fit. I am going to insulate it, and insulated windows, and a normal house door. It will be easy to keep warm and will be heated by a space heater w/ a thermostat at around 76-78. And then the animals will of course have there own heating. I'm getting it by the end of January. MAN i am so excited. But I also have to find another job now. Do any of you have a herp shed/building/room? Plz post pics

In a rack, the heaters raised the whole tank temps a couple of degrees. And 80 would be a little uncomfortable for my crested.

Re: Awesome News, Herp Shed
congrats on the shed! if you wanted you could do 80 deg. keep the cresteds on the floor! i keep my room 82-84 in the summer with the cresteds on the floor they eat, and reproduce for me. "dragon's den " has also keep them in the low 80's for years, no problems.

uh oh ... I think that there might be a couple of fuzzy critters missing from that list ... they didn't even make it a year?
