There's really no need for the Sunglow bulb. BPs only come out at night and therefore aren't dependent on UV light of any kind. If you want to go with a light, I would stick with a stronger wattage red bulb. Remember, however, with a bulb, the cage is going to dry out much quicker than it would with belly heat, and you're going to have to spray down your snake a couple times a day---I would also invest in a hygrometer to measure your humidity.


Honestly, I think it would be cheaper to go with the tub and thermostat than it would to get the whole dual light system. Just remember this: unfortunately, when it comes to thermostats, the more you spend, the safer your snake's going to be.
