I would avoid any type of tape in the enclosure. If you are looking for something good to use to construct hides I would suggest using hot glue or something that will not stick to the snake.

Also, cardboard harbors bacteria and mold.

ok...I just clean the tank and his till makeing new skin it been about a week now..and I put the box in there and I'm looking at him... his looking for a hideing spot and his don't know that that box his is hide spot ..so it look like it going to take a few day befor his know it...
