I am not trying to be rude, just giving you a few friendly pointers about web design and strategies.

1. Have your snake sexed, you can't have any credibility in the snake business, if you don't know what you have.

2. DO NOT tell people your wanting certain snakes, instead get your own. Do your research, buy from reputable breeders. You claim to be wanting certain Hets, bad idea. You will get a lot of unscupilous people trying to sells you "hets" at a "bargain" rate and ship you a bunch of normals. If you get your snakes from reputable breeders, then your snakes will have a good "Pedigree" so to speak when you go to sell them.

3. You can't really run a snake business you if you no snakes to sell, or very little prospects for the next 1-4 yrs if you are planning on breeding your on stock to sell.

Suggestion:
Make your site more of a directory for now. Link it to people that have snakes, cages, feeders, and husbandry items. This will increase traffic on your site. I wish one existed now. I spend a lot of time researching these items. Do not limit your data base to just snakes open it up to lizards and other stuff. Make your you only link to people with quality products and good reputations. You can talk about your own snakes, and describe projects as you gets breeders.

Money Making Suggestion:
Get pay per impression/click advertising to related subjects. Becareful with this, linking to Petco, Petsmart or like companies as this might damage your reputation in the Herp community. I would suggest a better alternative. Link to people that have a high end reputaion for months on end, like Adam, Nerd, Matt, Clay English, and Animal Platics. Link to them for free and watch your traffic grow as your site becomes popular. Not too many people are going to have any objection to free advertising. You could also ask for sponsors as your site gains noteriety, and generate income that way. Use that money to help build your stock with good quality well known snakes.

I am not flaming you in any way, just trying to offer constructive criticism. You bought the URL. You bought the server space. Market it differently until you have reputable stock. Aim to make your page an information database that all herpers would like to use. When you fianlly have a quality stock to market, your customers will already be there.
