Sounds like a great feeding response...congrats!

You can just pick up a pair of kitchen tongs from your handy dandy dollar store or go with hemostats or super long tweezers from a number of suppliers. It's always a good idea to not have rodent smell on your hands anyways or get your nice warm fingers between the snake and it's din din LOL.

Amazing isn't it how quick they switch on that kill instinct whether the prey is live, frozen/thawed or pre-killed. Good old Mother Nature at her best!
