Uh-Oh (Please no RI)
Tonight when I got ledora out she hissed or I thought so. It sounded like she was blowing air through her nose. I had just woken her up and she was sitting in her warm hide. Shes been yawning more but I've been feeding larger prey now though. Please dont tell me this sounds like RI. I am definately getting a space heater tommorow. Also would 20 min in a car in 45F weather be enough to cool down a rat fuzzy that its harder for a snake to find it.

Re: Uh-Oh (Please no RI)
If it's just straight hissing noise.. no gurgles/wheezes etc, it's probably just a hiss. Yawning can signal oncoming shed.. or realigning jaws. If you can open her mouth to look inside look for bubbles/stringy saliva.
Is the fuzzy live? If so, just hold it in your hands awhile to warm it (or put in loose pocket), if frozen.. baggie in hot water does the trick.

Whats a the difference between a hiss and a wheeze sound. I guess shes never really hissed before. and yes the fuzzy is live. Dont matter though now since Im switching to frozen

A hiss is just a straight air sound.. wheeze/gurgle is like how you sound when you try to breathe with a head cold.

Or when your grandma tries to laugh after having been smoking 2 packs a day for the last 40 years, and all that comes out are rhaspy noises followed by (not in the snake!) coughing fits

You have 1440 minutes a day... how are you going to spend yours?
