    Question Tub Set Up-anyone?

Anyone out there willing to share a few pixes of your tub set ups for your BP's?

I mean the full shabang- your heating setup, lights and interior?

    It would be greatly appreciated!

    Re: Tub Set Up-anyone?

I only have a picture of what Amani's tub looks like from the inside, but I can describe how the heating arrangement goes.

Here's a pic of the inside of her tub. I have two Dual Acu-Rite digital thermometer/hygrometer units in her tub. The one on the warm side measures ambient temps, inside hide temps and ambient humidity for that side. The one on the cool side measures everything for that side.

As far as heating goes, for the cool side, I am using a 2ft strip of 11" flexwatt set at 83 on my Herpstat 2. For the warm side, I am using a 1ft strip of 11" flexwatt set at 94 on the same t-stat. The ambients stay around 80 degrees as I have a 60w night lamp about 2 ft above the cage heating the air in that corner of my room. I have holes drilled along the sides for air flow. Maybe 10-15 holes on the long sides and 5-8 on the short ends. You may need more or less depending on the ambient humidity in your house.

Hope this has helped, and I can try to get some pictures of how the heating is set up.
