I had a female go off feed for almost 4 months, finally I got worried and even though she was previously eating unscented before her hunger strike, I really wanted to get her eating again. I picked up a western plains toad at a show for around $5, set him up in a little 10 gal aquarium and rubbed the fuzzies on him prior to offering them to her, she started eating the scented fuzzies right away. I kept with scented until she had regained all the weight she had lost, then weaned her off and back on to unscented.
Then she bit him and he sold her LOL!!
