You been dealing with ball python's long? You been here one day and already handing out bad advice. I have bp's that have been settled in for months and eating well, and just decide they don't want to eat for awhile, trust me, there is NO 'serious problem' there. I have two females that haven't eaten since June, and are still in real good condition. BP's will eat when they are ready.
