    Welcome to the site!

Ball python or a corn snake would be your best option for a starter snake. I have never been a fan of corn snakes, pythons just have the 'look' that I like Also, make sure you do alot of research on ball pythons and completely prepare your enclosure before purchasing the ball python. That will reduce stress on the animal and make everything a much better experience for both of you. If you have any questions, feel free to ask...we love to help out

Welcome to our world! I also think you would very much enjoy having and learning about snakes, starting with a ball python. One thing's for sure, they WILL teach you patience!! But don't take wrong, they have been very rewarding to me also! I like them much better than our mammal pets anymore!
