Luv all kinds of salmon dishes. And I live like about a stone's throw from like 20 sushi restaurants. I think my favorite thing to do with salmon though is to place a little lemon and garlic composed butter on top of the salmon and then wrap it in puff pastry and bake it in the oven and then finish it with a beurre blanc (white wine butter sauce). Hard to do in a restaurant because of cooking times, but for a really nice sunday dinner, you can not beat it. Especially if Copper River king salmon is in season. (OMG IT'S GOOD!!!) A nice buttery and oaky chardonnay would set that meal off.Originally Posted by Shelby
And yes 6 feet and 20 pounds for a snake is too big for me. I have a T3 cage for my BP and and it is only 3 feet long and I think that is plenty big.
