    Hi I am new here, but not new to bps I dont have one but I now alot about them. (My parents wont let me have one (Need Advice).).I found this site looking for info on bps and thought it was very informing .Heres some of my info : I am 13 years old and my mom has a degree to teach Agriculture and my dad has a degree bacholor science in agraculture/Animal science. I have a Border collie a blue heeler a cat and 2 fancy mice and my brother has a chinese water dragon.thanks Justin

    They wont tell me why my dad is more ok than my mom is my dad is just worried that the snake will escape but I tlked to him about the locking cage lids and he hasent said any thing about it yet but my mom wont even talk to me about it.

    My advice.. research ball pythons as much as you can, and make a... 'report' let's say, and present it to your parents. It should impress them that you spent a lot of time and effort to learn about this animal.

    Yeah; read as much about them as you can. Let your parents know that you know all sorts of facts about them, and that they really are not hard to keep as long as you know the basics. I wish you luck! I somehow got my mom to allow me to keep reptiles, when I lived back home; if I could crack her, I think anyone could get a parent to crack!

    Same here, my mom hated snakes, now she has one of her own that she adores and I have 18 (plus that she likes my tarantula now and tolerates the scorpions)

    Yeah, me too. My mom used to go bonkers when I'd bring home snakes. The first time she saw a kingsnake on my bed she just about passed out. She now comes into my house and brings out my BCI, which she named, and is trying to get my dad to let her have one. Just takes time.
