You could try putting some soiled Gerbil bedding in a plastic bag, put a Rat in the bag with the Gerbil bedding... defrost/warm the whole thing in warm water... once warmed take the Rat out and serve. If that works repeat for a few feeds then offer a Rat in the normal way.... worked for me!
