4) Uploaded pictures will appear in the contest gallery in appx 24 hours or sooner. If you do NOT see your entry after 48 hours please send a PM to Smulkin or Jeanne.
5) The cutoff for submissions is midnight (EST) the last day of the month. No entries will be accepted after that time.
6) The following day polls will be posted and will run for 6 days (weekends and holidays included). You may vote ONCE in each poll. If you attempt to vote more than once using an alternate account or otherwise attempt to unfairly influence the outcome of the voting you will be banned from the site.
7) Winners will be announced at the closing of the polls and be prompted for a brief note on their pic/pet which will then be updated on the site homepage.
8) In the event prizes have been donated for that months contest the winners will provide in PM their mailing address for delivery of said prizes.
NOTE: This site's ability to award prizes relies solely on contribution from our members and supporters. As a not-for-profit community website we are not able to fund prizes for each month no matter how much we might wish to do so. Prizes in these contests should be viewed as the exception, not the rule. We hope you are as excited as we are about having them but also hope in those months there are none that you'll not be dissapointed. If your business would like to donate prizes to sponsor contests please use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page.

Re: October HOTM Contest
I was just wondering..
What if, when we took the picture of that animal (some of my pics are from like last year) we owned that animal, but have since sold it or given it away. Could we still enter that pic?

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.

Re: October HOTM Contest
THey most likely chose the wrong folder during submission process.
I will have to take a closer look at the entries sometime after the submissions have closed.
If any user thinks they have submitted incorrectly now is the time to SEND A PM
