"Good health" is NOT something that can be judged by looking at a snake. I would get any other animals that you can to a vet with some measure of reptile experience tomorrow for a full workup ... blood cultures, cloacal swab, oral swab, lung wash, etc.

No, but stress can be a factor. Ball pythons do not die quickly ... that dead animal is carrying something that starting killing it a long time ago. I would get a complete necropsy as soon as possible.

Good luck ... freshly imported WC adult girls are not a fun ride for someone without much experience. You weren't planning on trying to breed them to your pastel were you?
