Re: Shedding ?????
Thanks for all the tips, guys!!!! I had to go out of town for my grandfather's funeral & when I was leaving her eyes were just clearing, so I know she was about to shed, but there wasn't anything I could do (with the setup & equip that I have). My roommate was going to keep the humidity up, but didn't. When I got home Thur. found Baby all wrinkly, crackly and her skin was baggy like she was dehydrated. Soaked and peeled her, and she's doing just fine now. She ate the two mice when I offered them on Thurs. right after her peeling session. *Whew* Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay!! Guess even tho' the other owner said she'd eat juvie rats, mice are more her size...but those two mice sure stank a LOT more than my two rats. I'm going to set things up and start breeding rats, feeding them to baby when they're fuzzies/smaller pups. Once I've gotten her eating regularly, I'm going to work on getting her to the F/T.
