    Re: Morph prices

Well I'll speak as a customer of one of these breeders (and a lot of them I dare say). If it's only a "business" why do they go out of their way to help us learn, answer questions in a forum, by email and on the phone that go way beyond "sales patter" and are never compensated to them properly in the sale of the snake. I've had breeders give me advice and share their wisdom that have never seen dime one from me yet, maybe never will, who knows but they still take their time to help me with my snakes. Not one of which came from them mind you but they are still just as concerned that my pet store snake thrives and does well for me. Heck they give us advice about breeding which is basically "breeding" their own competition albeit in a very small, small way.

Other than hets there is also some co-dominants that aren't completely out of reach and most breeders offer some sort of payment plan.

    Re: Morph prices

Ok guys, I think that's enough. Feel free to open a separate thread if you wish to discuss this further.

Can we return to original topic please?

    Thanks.

    Re: Morph prices

I think albino BPs have been around longer than that. I am not sure though.

It'll be awhile for morphs like snow and leucy to be anywhere near affordable, but I can see the co-dom morphs coming down quicker.

    Albino's were proven genetic in 1992 -

Prices have fallen on them, as they will with other morphs.
It will take time though, you can't expect prices to fall steeply.
