    It's sad?
I think it's great, I hope the prices on morphs always stay in a fairly high stance ...
It's great for the hobby, because not only is it a collection, but an invest as well.
Who wouldn't want to make a few extra bucks from their Ball Pythons?
You wouldn't want your collection of snakes paying themself off?

And I highly doubt anyone gets into Ball Pythons "Just to breed them and make money" -
It's not as easy as you'd think to keep and breed a vast collection of Ball Pythons -
To make a "business" out of your collection and actually make profit, you need to have hundreds of snakes ...
Do you seriously think it's easy taking care of hundreds of snakes?
Do you think someone would take care of them, if they didn't have passion for the snakes to begin with?

There is not one breeder that I know of, that got into Ball Pythons, just to make money from them, and that's it.
If anyone actually does go into Ball Pythons just to make money, they'll quickly realize it isn't as easy as they would think.

Also, I HOPE Morphs will keep a decently high-price on them ... Atleast $1000 each ...
    Why you might ask?
No, not because I want to make a profit, because if someone is going to spend $1000 on a snake, we all know they're going to take care of it.
The chances of someone purchasing a $1000 snake and not taking care of it are slim.

If someone truely wants to get into morphs, you don't have to spend thousands.
Start small, get an Albino Het pair for $650 - and produce countless numbers of Albinos yourself.
Heck wouldn't you want an Albino you produced yourself anyways?

Also, the more people that start producing Captive Breed Ball Pythons -
Hopefully the less Wild-caught Ball Pythons will be exported.
