    Thinkin of upping their feed...

Now, I feed my BPs and boa, once a week. But I have an overabundance of rat weanlings, and I really do not like whacking/freezing them, since they'll just sit in my freezer forever. I am considering, feeding my snakes every 5 days. I have read that some people do feed on this schedule; anyone here?
I will not feed my adult male like this; he actually gets one every 2 weeks, and he is still rather overweight looking (his temps and everything are fine, it's not that.) But the 5-day feeding would be for my three growing BPs and my boa; for his part, he is growing like a weed.
    So, how's that sound?

Why not just give them more per 7 day feeing? Or you could go to more every 10 days.

I tend to avoid giving my ball pythons "more" food unless they are growing babies ... as adults, I'm usually trying to figure out how to give them less.

The three that I would be feeding more, are still growing. The female is about 2000g, one male is smaller and one is roughly the same size as her.
I could go with 2 hopper rats per feeding maybe...

Well, bad news for ya, but 2000 grams is an adult. Ball pythons will grow for their entire lives, but their period of most rapid growth is from 100 - 1200 grams. After that, it's usually slow but steady.

2 hopper rats per feeding would be perfect I think. I have big 3500+ gram girls that were getting the same up until a week or two ago.

Hm.. I know that this is about breeding.. but can I breed her at this size? She is only about 3.5 feet, give or take. I would love to breed her, but do you think I should wait until next year just to be safe?
