I think you would get a mix of lemon looking pastels and other line looking pastels. Someone experienced enough working with lemons might be able to identify the more lemon babies, but I don't think that they could be sold as tried and true lemons. Some axanthic lines are not compatible, but with the exception of the new co-dom hypos that Greg Graziani is working with, the general consensus among the breeding community is that all straight ghost/hypo lines are compatible. Things like burgundy hypos, desert ghosts, etc are not technically "ghosts" but something different that has ghost like qualities. Joe Compel talks about this on another thread on the site. I've personally crossed 4 lines of hypos as well as most of the color lines and all have bred true.
When investing in any mutation, buying from reputable breeders that have been around and knows their stuff will help you from buying “lines” that won’t work together.
