    I just got a snake yesterday. Is he going to be really active??? cuz he is???

    thats perfectly normal(think they call it flight behavior)he'll stop doin it after the first couple a days. its because of the new envirement. just dont handle him for the first couple of weeks and let him acclimate.

    Yea I wasnt really that attached i had only had 3 weeks. I was still pretty bummed and i still am but i mean i guess it is part of keeping pets. I also named my new snake after my old one in memory of him so tha is another thing

    Please tell me that you thoroughly disinfected the caging!!!! It seems to me you had environmental issues as well. Make sure you get your hot and cool side temps right! That is so very important! Good luck with your new snake, a bp right?

    Did you put your new snake in the same tank that the last one was in? If you did what did you use to disinfect the tank?

    I used bleach! but i didnt put him in the one the died in
