It depends on the age of the bp and it's growth rate. If it's younger then it will shed about every 4-6 weeks, but sometimes as often as every 2 weeks (right Jo?). Older bps shed less frequently, like a couple times a year.
Cause when push comes to shove you taste what you're made of
You might bend, till you break cause its all you can take
On your knees you look up decide you've had enough
You get mad you get strong wipe your hands shake it off
Then you Stand
LOL yep Christie! Our snakes are about 7 months and about 20 months old. The 7 month old did shed once only 2 weeks apart and really surprised me...now she's pretty much settled into every 4 to 6 weeks. The older b.p. was underweight so shed pretty soon after starting to receive appropriate food each week....she's now back in shed again a month later. I'm sure once she's reached her proper weight she'll probably slow down her shed pattern.
