Punkin pulled the same thing on us yesterday Robin. She's decided not only to be in her new hide but also to be under her substrate and then further to be under the nice layer of papertowel I put down under said substrate. So...layered...snake...papertowel..substrate...hide! You look into her hide...ya see a hump. Punkin's always been big on burrowing under anything she could get under, haven't a clue why but it did freak me out when I couldn't find her for a second or two.

She's in shed again and hissed at us for the first time last night after I tried to "encourage" her to just use the hide like any self-respecting snake. Her first hiss! Punky's apparently "in a mood" this shed LOL.

Glad your Kash was safe and sound if not being a tad bratty to hide from you like that LOL.
