From most of the care sheet i read about BCI, they tend to be very docile creature and categorized as a beginner snake.
But like any other large pythons, you need to realize if you are prepared to keep a 7 - 10 foot snake. At full length, their weight and girth can be overwhelming and their diet includes small rabbits.
I have handled a sub adult bci and they are quite friendly and non-shy snake i had ever handled.
Do all the research and ask as many questions as you can. Too much knowledge wont hurt and get a male as they are much smaller than female.
