    Ebay Sellers

What do you do if someone gives you bad feedback, when they never got the item they won? They gave us feedback saying their CD was messed up when I haven't even sent it yet.Can we report this or something,I tried but all I got was this stupid auto-response...

You are suppose to report it to Ebay, unfortunately, you do get the auto response at first, generally, they do get back to you quickly. You should also contact your buyer and see if they made a mistake in giving that feedback, remind them that you have yet to send out thier cd, because then it would be easier getting it removed off your feedback record. Also, not sure if this is true in your case, but thought I would mention it... if you are selling burnt cd's (containing music or software) and the buyer reports your product as burnt cd's, ebay may come back on you for doing that, and they usually suspend accounts for that. Hope you get this situation resolved.

Wow, thats pretty messed up of them. Have you tried contacting them and letting them know you have not even sent it yet? Maybe they messed up, cause I know when you have multiple feedback comments to leave, sometimes you just have to be real careful not to give the wrong feedback to the wrong person. Maybe you can resolve it by contacting your buyer.... on the other hand, maybe this is thier way of getting out of buying the game b/c they dont really have the money (if they have not sent it to you). But who knows. I would definately contact your buyer if I were you.

Hm.. I would chek out their feedback; if they have alot of Positives, chances are it's a misunderstanding. I usually block bids from buyers who have either no feedback, or a lot of Negatives, since it is just a hassle to deal with people like that.
