It's called porphyrin, and it is a normal, rust-colored secretion. They can have an excess of it related to stress, allergies, genetic abnormalities, etc. If it is just a tad on her eyed when she wakes up, it's not a big deal. Think of it as our eye crusties when we wake up in the morning.
