GREAT! Just fantastic....(SARCASTIC) :(
OK guys yesterday the power went off fer like 3hrs . I had had monty out for a holdin' sescion and it went out. So after a few more mins of holdin, I put him back in his 90qt sterile container and closed the lid, put 3lb wieghts at each end. The power came back on 3hrs later and it was almost time to go to bed. So I go up to my room, feed my leopard geckos and go to check on monty. I search the tank down and hes not there. Ran through the substate, which is some pine or aspen chippings (I forget) and hes not there, I think OOHHHHHH CRAP!! I search the room down, tore it apart and hes not there, I looked every place I think he can get to and hes not there, I was about ready to panic . So I go get my step-dad and tell him that he got out again (yes again, he got out once b4 fer a week till he turned up downstairs, my room is upstairs) he said go to bed and we'll look fer him later. I did what I was told but I was about to really panic. Went to school today, he didn't find him. I feel like I'm about to cry .

I'm sorry about Monty. Don't worry he'll show up. Hades has escaped I think 4 times when I thought "how the crap could he possibly escape?" I have him on super lock down mode now. I found him twice in my soccer bag, once in a shoe in my closet, and once under my dresser. Usually they don't go very far. Look up high too! My friend found her ball on the rack to her curtains! Don't give up! Leave some heat lamps out!

Search places that are warm...i.e. by the computer, tv, other electronics. When most bp go missing, they can be found 3-4 ft from their enclosures.
Hope you find Monty. Let us know when he is found.

Mine got out one time and I found him in my gym bag of all places in my room. As any old gym bag would be shoved with old stinky clothes and a lot of other useless junk. I also think i read somewhere about using a mouse and trying to get Monty to come to you ill look it up.

Hmmm if his cage started to get too cool as the power was out, where's the warmest, darkest place closest to his cage he might have headed to. That's where I'd check.

I was up at 11:00 last night doin homework in my room and my stepdad comes up with him. I was soooooooooooooo happy. He was a little thin because I havent been able to set up a feeding scedule and Ive only fed him one time. My stepdad is buyin some fuzzies after work for me. Atleast I got him, he was under the dryer.

Good that you got him back but i wouldnt feed him fuzzies how big is he he can probly take a fully grown mouse no problem so i suggest moving him up right away it will also help fatten him up for you cause the mouse is bigger.
